Steve Host Stands for...
Neighborhood Businesses
- An Experienced and Successful
Businessman
Small businesses are the backbone of our
local economy and as such, they impact our
lives daily. These business owners and their
employees are our friends, neighbors and
families. They are leaders who help shape
our community, impact our lives daily and
are among the first to get involved
supporting community needs.
As the owner of three small businesses in
Richmond, Steve knows firsthand that our
neighborhood businesses dedicate their time,
money and talents to meet the needs of our
community. As your representative, Steve
Host will provide our thriving, diverse
community of neighborhood businesses with
the hands-on, experienced representation
that they need and deserve by being an
advocate for one of our greatest assets –
our friends, our neighbors, our families –
our small business owners.
Education
- Preparing for Tomorrow Today
Education is the key to the future growth
and prosperity of Fort Bend County, and we
must have responsible, visionary
representation to ensure educational
resources for our children. To provide a
variety of education resources for our
future labor force, we must grow our
community colleges and vocational education
programs to equip the next generation for
tomorrow’s job market.
Senior Citizens
- Protecting the Future
Representing seniors and protecting their
standard of living is a priority for Steve
Host. With the increase of our senior
citizen population, we have a responsibility
to address the serious issue of the rising
cost of property taxes and the impact these
increases have on lives of our older adults.
Advocacy
- A Voice for Those in Need
Being socially responsive to those in need
by providing them with a voice is key to the
well-being of our community. Steve Host’s
compassionate approach to helping those in
need by providing them with access to the
tools they need will ensure that our entire
community is heard, has access to
appropriate resources and can succeed. |
